April marks Alcohol Awareness Month, a time set aisde to bring together greater understanding to the impact of alcohol misuse and too confront the stigma that too often keeps people silent and suffering.
While this observance has been recognized since 1987, the need for awareness, education and compassion extends far beyond a single month. This is a conversation we must continue every day.
