Community Advisory Panel

HHI's Community Advisory Panel is a group of clients, family members, friends and other stakeholders who provide input and make recommendations on matters important to the people we serve.

The Community Advisory Panel serves many functions. In addition to being a forum for social contact and support, the Community Advisory Panel is a place to offer feedback and suggestions regarding the services offered by HHI. Also, this is a group that educates the community about behavioral health and the reality of recovery. Membership is open to any client, family member, guardian or support person of Hegira Health, Inc.

You should consider joining HHI's Community Advisory Panel if you:

  • Have been impacted by mental illness, substance abuse and/or developmental disability

  • Support the recovery of someone you know or care about

  • Want more support in your own recovery

  • Have an idea for a new service or program

  • Want to share or learn about community resources

  • Have something to say about living with chronic illness

The Community Advisory Panel meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month in HHI's, Westland Counseling Center, Group Room "A," 8623 N. Wayne Road, in Westland from 2:00 - 3:30pm. If you are interested in joining, please come to our next meeting!
